From humble beginnings in the passenger transport sector McGinley Coach Travel has expanded and diversified to become one of Irelands leading tour operators, providing travel and leisure solutions to thousands of satisfied customers.
JMG Travel is the tour operating division of the company and under the direction of it managing director Mr. James McGinley the company has moved into many new and different sectors of the travel industry to include tour operators, air package holidays, specialist group travel services and wholesaling to the travel trade.
2011 first saw the introduction of cruising to its portfolio when its company operated its first cruise from Dublin, filling a gap in the market for no-fly cruising. Under the JMG Cruise brand the company developed further into this market in the following years increasing passenger numbers year on year and growing a loyal following for its no-fly cruises. Due to the pandemic cruise operation were ceased in 2020 and unfortunately remained like this for two-years. In 2022 the company announced a new partnership with the UK’s newest cruise company “Ambassador Cruise Lines”.
